If a Human Being wants to be Happy and Satisfied

by Billy Meier

It is very common to complain about life because it is assumed that life is biased, unfair, and dangerous. Anyone can watch the news around the world to be filled with the horror of the day that evil and bad events take place—murder, manslaughter, riots, protests, hateful family dramas, exploitation, radicalism, all things regarding religious-sectarian, political dissention, wars, diseases and epidemics, etc.

However, according to Billy, none of these events justify complaining about life or condemning it as risky, unfair or dangerous because life is inherently fair. The evil, negative and bad things are not made by the life, but rather exclusively by the human beings of the earth. And if one is an unhappy or disgruntled human being, then that does not happen from all the negative and bad world-events, but rather from you alone, through your thoughts, feelings, deeds and behaviors, as these are responsible for your states of unhappiness.

Naturally one cannot dispute or deny the negative worldwide events that take place, but realize that the anxiety resulting from them only worsens the terrible inner state. It’d be best to disrupt this world-anxiety in yourself while learning to comprehend that you must concern yourself first and foremost with you, rather than the terrible events in the world.

As an individual human being, you are not able to change the world to the good and positive. You can only change yourself through your own thoughts, feelings, the state of your psyche and through your actions and behaviors. Begin to see yourself as the most important person in your life, develop yourself to the best, good and positive, then you can go through life healthy, safe and powerful.

Your personal inner well-being, inner freedom and harmony, inner peace as well as your happiness have nothing to do with world-events. Rather it is only your own good and positive thoughts and feelings through which one forms the well-being of the psyche. Only the powers of consciousness from which thoughts result and then in turn create feelings, which leads the life.

According to Meier, anxiety is a state that is usually learned from others, or it’s something you created from experiences that began in your childhood. Ideally, the best upbringing is fostered in true love from a young age while instilling in a child the freedom to develop intellect and rationality from one’s own innate powers. This helps a person become self-responsible and self-assured. The harmonious, supportive, loving home situations in the early years, actually mobilizes a part of the brain responsible for the unfoldment of self-decision-making when a person reaches adulthood.

Realistically, many do not experience this ideal childhood. Rather, many children begin life in a loveless, fear-based, abusive state that a young person is unable to resist. These experiences create imposed, coerced, impulsations of anxiety that begin at a very early age. This diminishes a person’s courage to rebel against many types of control, domination and coercion. Without the appropriate effective true love, educational methods, necessary cognitions and knowledge, anxiety begins to spread—with a lack of courage.

As children, it is not uncommon to be educated by parents with anxiety and worries. Anyone who has anxiety since childhood has been living to 'nurture' anxiety, worries, unhappiness and dissatisfaction. When this happens, anxiety and worries have already become an addiction, which one cannot live without and does everything for it to survive. Anxiety and worries get renewed daily, as if you have been injected with a toxin. That means, rather than stopping these distortions from your thoughts and feelings, you feed it daily, because you have become quite acclimated to it.

The truth is that many parents, educators and others you’ve encountered in your early years could not accept you as you were. Many children grow up in a state of shock and with many uncertainties. Consequently, you took on the thought-process of parents, friends and acquaintances as well as from the fellow human beings in your environment who were saturated with various anxieties as well as other conditions. Naturally, you were instructed by parents or others and you blindly believed them and trusted everything they said, explained and taught. At the time, you did not yet have the discernment to determine between right and wrong. These erroneous concepts have defined who you are well into adulthood.

As Billy explains, the human being is not really self-determining until adulthood, when that special part-of-the-brain becomes completely formed and active. It is only at this phase that it becomes more difficult to influence human beings since they are then able to exercise their own decision-making-ability. And if you consider every wrongful parenting/upbringing/education method, it seems that children and young persons are defenseless because on the one hand every defense or resistance is suppressed with wrong developmental methods and because on the other hand their self-determination ability effectively lies dormant. The sad truth is that this constitutes early brainwashing, through which every possibility for self-determination, self-decision-making and self-development as well as self-realization is hindered and prevented.

This was fundamentally hammered into you that you must create everything in life by these terms. Therefore, you had to do so, not on your own intellect, rationality and volition but rather by their thoughts, feelings, actions and behaviors which were imposed and enforced on you. These things have absolutely nothing to do with your own intellect, rationality and with your own actions and behaviors. Under these conditions, you became a command-receiver and command-executor, who was unable to learn and make your own determinations.

Once anxiety, unhappiness and dissatisfaction exist in the adult human being, the more common reactions are for humans to distract themselves, or suppress these states usually through the use of alcohol or drugs. Some people see a psychiatrist for medication such as psychotropic drugs. Some remain lost in these very unhappy states…

When the repression of anxiety, unhappiness and dissatisfaction continues for a period of time it then becomes a chronic condition, creating issues of depression, panic attacks and a necessity for psychiatric treatment. The psychopharmaceutical industry has never been interested in true healing but more so in producing medication with innumerable side effects and prescribing them to suffering human beings.

The better path would be to position oneself against these unhealthy conditions through intellect, rationality as well as through a healthy self-love.

Whenever you have a chance in life, it is better to have a true and open love for children and young people being educated as well as with adults, it is necessary to act and work in a connecting tutoring way rather than with the use of aggression, anger and coercion. Some kindness would help many things on the earth.

If you are unhappy, unsatisfied with many anxieties, you must strictly and consciously strive to bring this under control. For more clarity about the issues, Billy recommends you do an assessment for how much anxiety is actually in your life so that you may learn about yourself:

Determine how many daily routines you do through habit.

Pay attention to how you react in any given unexpectant situation.

How do you react, learn, recognize, experience your environment, regarding your family, friends, acquaintances and work associates.

Strive for regulation and cleanliness in your personal environment.

How often do you worry about certain matters or issues, personal relationships or material things, etc.

Worry is obviously also connected to anxieties as several questions should be assessed. Billy recommends that worry must not be made an important purpose-in- life, as this brings great injury especially in thoughts, feelings and in the psyche. The following are to aid your understanding of worry and how to best manage:

Worries should be kept under control in order to bring ultimate resolution.

Worries arise from wrong perceptions made of things and situations, etc.

Worries are not real, but imagined perceptions.

Worries are a sign of no love, but irrationality.

Worries emerge from repression of one's own anxieties that humans don’t want to be responsible for.

Worries are a tremendous energy, from which powers emerge which severely burden the consciousness, thoughts, feelings and psyche.

Worries can be transferred to fellow human beings, whereby they also become consciousness-thought-feeling-psyche-based burdened.

The longer worries are considered, they quickly become chronic. If this occurs, then an unparalleled consciousness-thought-feeling-psyche-pollution arises, that leads to evil anxieties, the worse unhappiness and miserable dissatisfaction.

The first important realization is that the one and only originator of all your problems—is you. Since you made an unconscious determination for it, no one other than yourself is responsible for your consciousness-thought-feeling-psyche-based demolished state, because you alone caused the anxieties and disharmony, unhappiness, dissatisfaction and depression. That means, that you alone can resolve the entire inner disaster, in order to bring resolution and let peace, joy, freedom, being happy, living in harmony, well-being and satisfaction grow and blossom.

Billy has written innumerable books to help you understand what it means to be a true Human and how to live according to Universal Laws. Your experience of life on earth will become much more pleasant and rich as you educate yourself about these things.

One of these is called the Law of Cause and Effect. This law states very simply, that whenever you cause something to happen, this creates an effect. This means that everything you do, every thought, every action, every decision and every choice you make today in your current incarnation will affect your life in this and your future incarnations. Understand that every single thought you think of—is creating something. This may cause you to become more mindful and conscious of having thoughts that enhance your life and lives rather than thoughts that create misery and failure. In his book, Might of the Thoughts, Billy describes the importance of thinking in a way that makes life more conscious, balanced and neutral-positive.

The Law of Creation states that you will reincarnate again into a human being and will inherit the planet you left behind from your previous incarnations. Here is yet another reminder, your thoughts affect your personal life and your future lives and the quality of life on earth.

The spirit form that resides within you is the all-wise, all-knowing, all-loving, allcapable part of yourself. It is a piece of Creation that exists within you. It is indestructible and never dies. With this realization, you begin to know that you have everything within to deal with all kinds of issues and conditions. You need to bring an increasing awareness to this aspect of yourself. Rather than focus on the worst of yourself, strive for an understanding of this powerful truth. Meditation helps. In his book, Introduction to Meditation, Billy describes the process quite clearly and lists all the components for a proper meditation.

Then, when you are powerful, positive and healthy in yourself, in your thoughts, feelings, psyche, in acting and in behaviors, then you are able to lead your life in a good way. Know that you can become free of anxieties. You must learn, to consciously concern yourself about what is reality and what is the truth, as also in regard to your thoughts, feelings, deeds and behaviors, in order to change everything to joy and trust. Regarding this the human being has everything in the good and positive as well as in the negative and bad – only you can decide, to hold on to the right things and to make them your own, in order to become happy, satisfied and free from all anxiety.
