Chapter V Psychical Disorders

Might of the Thoughts Study Guide

Chapter V
Psychical Disorders
Quote by Billy Meier

Although the planet Earth is a true paradise, the human being certainly does not live on a celestial body of pure bliss, on which there would be no problem areas or areas of conflict which he/she would have to overcome consciously—mentally and psychically. And precisely because it effects virtually every single Earth inhabitant who has a human nature, every individual is thus somehow thankful that the creational laws and recommendation offer him/her an opportunity to improve his/her life, psyche, consciousness, character, morality, life-circumstances and mental world, indeed, through the might of right, positive and equalized thinking.

According to Billy, a psychical illness does not have to last forever. He says it can be cured if the necessary right steps are observed.

First, you need to accept that you need help. Then the psychical disturbance has to be recognized and accepted by the person with this affliction. It's helpful if you can get an analysis of what caused the wrong thoughts in the first place. Usually the psyche was disturbed, through ill feelings.

Once the issue or issues are identified, then it's important to construct positive thinking in opposition to the illness. I'm assuming Billy is referring to an affirmation or affirmations that you create and use to change the feelings and to normalize them again in a positive way.  But specifically he uses the words construct positive thinking.

In addition to this, he recommends useful conversations and appropriate therapies.  But the person needs to maintain the thinking which is positive and free from destructive, negative thoughts.  So ultimately, positive and equalized thoughts are the most important factor for healing the psyche and its recovery.

From his writings, Billy says a person can do this on his own if they recognize the issues at an early stage.  They need to work to “repair” the thoughts in the right way and positively uses them as has been described.  But he cautions that this is unfortunately not possible in every case, because when the psyche is already too disturbed or sick, this is practically impossible.  At that point, a person needs to seek professional help.

Billy suggests that talking with a psychoanalyst, taking psychotropic meds -- these things can be useful and helpful. It may provide the necessary support one needs to have a proper perspective and bring more understanding to the situation. I believe he recommends this as it is the most established regulated system of healing the psyche that is currently acceptable.

Whether a person suffers from anxiety, or depression or any type of psychical disorder, positive thinking is in any case—and indeed without exception—always of the greatest importance irrespective of which kind of psychical suffering it is.

Other recommendations:
The thoughts need to become calm, utilizing either neutral thoughts or a wish dream preferably with a subject that has absolutely nothing to do with the actual problem.  When the thoughts are calm, it leads to the actual problem being able to be dealt with in a calm, clear manner. This leads to situations being managed in the best possible light and eventually leads to states of neutral-positive-equalized thinking.

In Chapter 5, Might of the Thoughts, Billy Meier writes about psychical disorders and how prevalent these are in our world.  He makes clear that the three points we have covered in previous chapters are all important in healing distortion patterns in the psyche.  In fact, these are the main recommendations he writes about that are required to actually  “repair” the subconscious in a lasting way.  These are the following:
  1. Stop all negative destructive thinking.
  2. Think positive thoughts that counter the effects of the negativity—i.e. affirmations.
  3. Neutral-positive-equalized thinking is the most important to heal these conditions.

Affirmations

 I am confident.
 I am optimistic.
 I am relaxed.
 I am cheerful.
 I am enthusiastic.

Nell's Notes and Comments

From his Ohio Exopolitics RadioBlog, Mark Snider explains some techniques from a book Billy wrote called, Meditation from Clear Sight.  These are affirmations you can do when you’re facing challenges.

This first affirmation is good to do when you’re under pressure.  It is recommended that you focus on the affirmation by using this technique—think about the sentence, muttering it to yourself several times a day.  If you repeat this over and over again for 5 minutes, it’s very good.   It helps your attentiveness.  This effectively gets rid of or “burns out” the wrong, useless and “unclean" thoughts—meaning anything that goes against the Law of Harmony.  These words will evoke helpful thought-forms from your subconscious which should bring your thoughts back into alignment with the Law of Harmony.  The second affirmation is good to do when facing big challenges.  In truth, I think anyone of these would work well.

1.  I always remain relaxed and thereby gain might over myself.

2.  Everything is achievable for me and I master whatever I wish to accomplish.

3.  The calmer and more tenacious I become, the more I overcome difficulties.

It’s the application of might of thought once I leave my meditation space that’s the problem.  Like I noticed that I wasn’t present in my driving, so I made an adjustment. I noticed that I wasn’t diligent when I had to do a repair at the apartment building yesterday, so I was on my way back to address a door repair more thoroughly when I lost the check. Some parts of me are present, and parts of me are scattered.

I was reading online about why we lose things easily.  Carelessness and absentmindedness were cited. Stress and depression were listed as well and needing to use color coding to rely on something other than just memory when you are simply too busy.   And if you are invested emotionally in something you tend not to lose it. (Well that hasn’t been the truth for me LOL but I do often use color coding and will have to increase usage of that tool perhaps now that I have more work.)

I often have to talk to myself saying “this is important don’t lose it.” I did say those words right before I lost the check.  Yet even if working makes me happy, it does make me stressed and I get anxious and resistant.

Some of this is the result of putting up boundaries so that I’m not an over-giver.  Doing four jobs is stressful. Comedian, actress, apartment manager, renting rooms in my home on Airbnb, contracts, doing film location work. It is simply a lot. Learning to gather all parts of me/Consciousness is the key I suppose.

In Chapter V, Billy writes about various forms of damage to the psyche.  Suffering can be so intense that it creates severances in the nervous system.  When you have a disassociation or a severance in your psyche, this can create forgetfulness.  The parts of you that are present work very well, but the aspects of you that seem to go off-line from time to time create inconsistencies and instability in your life.

Chapter V discusses various forms of psychical disorders all of which can be healed by the same formula:
  1. Stop all destructive negative thoughts.
  2. Do the positive affirmations.
  3. Practice neutral-positive-equalized thinking.
Billy says once you start doing this, it heals all kinds of issues really quickly.

Yes, your personal life is quite busy.  But the more you come into an alignment, you can manage all these issues with grace and ease.  I’ve put together an example of how you can heal yourself using the affirmation part of these techniques.  You can use this process or create a protocol of your very own that will help you.

Since we began our study, I have been looking closely at daily life experiences--sometimes through a microscope. I am learning from each one. But there are still things I don't understand. As I'm saying these affirmations, WHY do very, very difficult things still happen? Why did I get fired? Why did I get an eviction notice on my door today---said I hadn't paid rent and they will kick me out in 3 days? I know I went online and clicked to pay my rent but I guess there were 2 other things I needed to click for them to get the money. I did write them an email saying I thought I already paid, can you please check records?
Today was a roller coaster. No, I do not have cancer. No, I did not just fall off a cliff.
But it was VERY HARD! There were a lot of miscommunications with people. I was crying, I was angry, I didn't want to be here...but I continued to say the affirmations and calm down.
I am in the process of getting my Oregon speech License (I had one previously). So the only office person at the Board of Examiners Oregon had told me it only takes 1-2 days to re-activate the license. I thought it would be all done last week to start my new job on Monday. I cannot go to the job unless I have the License. I didn't start on Monday. Yesterday he said all he was waiting for was a $100 check, extra fee besides the $280 already paid. Yesterday I didn't get to go to work.

When I look at this there are many ah-ha's. The biggest ones are:

1) Every time something was a glitch, I felt "I did something wrong" when in most cases today it was the other person or a computer that was wrong.

2) I am learning to push through difficulties and then resolve it, even if I need someone to help.

3) For important things, talk on the phone, not email

4) I was able to use strategies to get calm. I did not have to call someone to help me.
And MORE....

I really feel the affirmations 3x per day for 15 min, then the one line for 5 min is making significant changes in me. The most powerful: “I always remain relaxed and thereby gain power over myself." I feel this in my body.  I’m proud of myself as I didn’t quit, I figured out each task that needed to be done.  I was an advocate for myself. I had to speak my truth.  I persevered. I learned many lessons from this frustrating situation. Now I see that I will use these on my path ahead.

Nell's Response

Thanks for sharing your experiences.  I’m sorry you’re having such challenges.  But though you’re struggling, I can’t help but notice so many breakthroughs you was making.

The difficulties you mention are forcing you to become very present.  There are challenges and lots of them, but this situation demands that you get here and NOW.  This is like a 12-step program where you take it one day at a time and one issue at a time, until the to-do list is managed.  It’s like anything else, isn’t it?

You’re doing the affirmations and feeling the effects in your body.  You’re doing your own healing work. You are drawing from your own inner power and volition and pulling yourself out of difficult and demanding states.  I’m very excited for you that you’ve graduated to this level.  What you are doing to repair your psyche is helping!
Consistency is important, as is the repetition of these positive affirmations which is healing and repairing your subconsciousness.  Keep up the good work!

I am grateful for your hard work.  I love the Affirmation Sheet.  It has certainly made me just do it! Sometimes, I blow my top (as you know, I have a temper!) and then I read my affirmations.  But, I am getting better.

Nell's Response

What you’re describing is a process called, self-evaluation, which Billy mentions in Chapter V.  He recommends watching your thoughts, your reactions and making different decisions and choices.  This breaks old habits, it heals the psyche and re-establishes new healthy thoughts and habits.  That’s a good reminder for us all!

Nell's Notes and Comments

One student asked me to write about her experiences of being invalidated by men. Specifically, this began with her father who was verbally and emotionally abusive.

When someone has sustained repetitive abuse—parts of the psyche are literally damaged, and therefore, unable to function properly.  This creates a negativity that is in the background of her life and interferes with her expressions of personal empowerment.

The abuse patterns have left deep wounding in her psyche.  We agreed that she needed to think positive thoughts that would counter the effects of this negativity. I recommended that she construct an affirmation that would help her to neutralize the psychic wounding.  Within a few hours, she wrote the following affirmation:

I am the embodiment and perfection of Feminine Power and Sovereignty.
