Chapter I Neutral-Positive-Equalised Thinking

Might of the Thoughts Study Guide

Chapter I
Neutral-Positive-Equalised Thinking

Quotes by Billy Meier

Thoughts are might, and indeed in the negative as well as in the positive. However, thoughts must be neither purely negative nor purely positive, but equalized; indeed, neutral-positive-equalised.

Therefore, it has to be clear that a neutral-positive-equalized mode of thinking is required for the maintenance and repair of the psyche.
When you think of a person, you may have purely super positive thoughts about this person. Similarly, you could have extremely negative thoughts about someone. Neither extreme is true nor is that a healthy thought. Being balanced and neutral while leaning toward the positive is what is recommended.

We live on the Earth where the energies are in a constant state of polarity—there’s positive and negative and maintaining a balance between the polarities is important on this planet. If someone asked you, “Which state would you rather live from, a positive state or a negative state?"—what would your answer be? This is a trick question—so answer carefully and thoughtfully. The answer should be neither. Ideally, you want to live somewhere in the middle where it Is more neutral while leaning toward the positive.

Wildly happy people, or insanely super spiritual or super religious people are in an unbalanced and unhealthy state that leads to a type of degeneration. This condition is described using the German word “ausartung” which has no English equivalent.   Ausartung means the human being’s good nature is badly falling away. That is to say, falling out of control. The opposite of the imbalance of a super happy person would be someone who is very down, dark, dismal, depressed, seeing no hope anywhere. It’s easy to see that this also brings about the condition of ausartung.

Whenever you notice your thinking has gotten out of balance to one extreme or the other, remember to bring it back to an equally positive and equally negative neutral place while leaning toward the positive. You can reassess the issues from a neutral-positive-equalised thinking point of view. Ask:

“What is the positive truth about the situation? What is the negative truth about the situation?"  How can you assess every situation from an equalized point of view?

Obviously, this is something we need to learn how to do.
Strive to do the best you can.

What are the benefits of neutral-positive-equalised thinking?
  • Healthy progressive thinking arises over time.
  • Maintenance and repair of the psyche occurs.
  • You begin to form your own future and entire life, according to your own wishes and ideas.
  • Self-realization unfolds.
  • You begin to see your real and true greatness.
  • You begin to form your future and entire life according to your own wishes and ideas.
  • You are better able to perceive truth which makes you free from anxieties and restrictions--free from burdens.
  • You have personal power in all things.
  • You stop doing things that actually you do not want to be doing in life.
  • You learn to do what suits you, what you enjoy, and what you love.
  • You begin to discover your sense of life—a better life for yourself and better world for all humans, for all life forms, and all of nature and the planet.
  • You are happy and satisfied to carry complete responsibility for yourself and everything in your life.
“The human being is the forger of his/her own fortune,” and, indeed in the form that the human being forms his/her luck by means of his/her thoughts, in each case according to how he/she chooses them and reinforces them.

Nell's Notes and Comments
In 1984, I studied to become a clairvoyant and to do healing work.  I had an extensive 7-year training in Mill Valley, just north of San Francisco.  One principle constantly reinforced during all those years was to be in a neutral state.  Before each meditation or healing session, my teacher would say, “Now make sure you are at 100% neutrality.”

As students, we would all do our best to get neutral in order to be as clear, as clairvoyant and impartial as possible.  To be clairvoyant and to counsel people, it’s important that you maintain mental equipoise, that you stay centered, that you “keep your cool” regardless of what you’re perceiving in another person.  Being neutral was and still is a good tool when dealing with another person’s issues.  Then I realized—being neutral is a good tool to master in life!

I’m reminded of my past as I read Chapter I of MOTT.  Billy speaks of a state called neutral-positive-equalised thinking, which is somewhat different from what I learned years ago—but it's the closest I've come to experiencing what he recommends.
